Allowing Arreya through a Firewall or Content Filter

To ensure Arreya operates smoothly, you may need to configure your firewall or content filter to allow its traffic. Follow the steps below based on your system.

For Network Firewalls or Content Filters:

  1. Identify Required Ports and URLs:

    • *.arreya.com
    • api.arreya.com
    • yourchannel.arreya.com
    • *.filepicker.io
    • *.filestackapi.com
    • *.filestack.com
    • *.filestackcontent.com
    • cdn.filestackcontent.com
  2. Configure the Firewall/Filter:

    • Access your network firewall or content filter settings.
      • There are hundreds of different types of network gear.  If you require assistance, please note the Model and Brand of your specific firewall so we can assist further.
    • Add the necessary ports (e.g., TCP/UDP ports) to the allowed list.
    • Whitelist Arreya’s URLs and domains.
  3. Save and Apply Changes:

    • Ensure the new rules are saved and the firewall/content filter is updated.

Additional Tips:

  • Restart Arreya and Your Device: After making firewall changes, restart Arreya and, if necessary, your computer to apply the settings.
  • Google services such as Google Slides, YouTube, and Chrome Device Management may require additional firewall configuration to function properly. Visit https://support.google.com/chrome/a/answer/6334001 for more information.
  • Check for Conflicting Software: Ensure no other security software is blocking Arreya.
  • Contact Support: If issues persist, reach out to Arreya Support for assistance.

By following these steps, you can successfully allow Arreya through your firewall or content filter, ensuring uninterrupted access and functionality.
